Why I’m Going to HeroCamp:
I’m going to HeroCamp because I believe the most interesting people are the ones who don’t talk about themselves much. They do things that matter and attend events like this to share and learn how they can do more. I’m also going to HeroCamp to be inspired; to see what others are doing in the world that make it a better place. I want to know other heroes.
What Would I Like to See Come Out of HeroCamp?
I’m hoping that HeroCamp will produce a plan on ways we can motivate others to become heroes. I would like to see the heroes gain as much out of their acts as those they help (which I don’t believe is contrary to the idea of heroism).
What is Heroism to me?
Heroism is a label which helps us promote those who help others. It helps us tell the story of uncommon kindness. Being a hero is simply acting in the best interest of human welfare at the time it’s needed, regardless of the amount of welfare needed.
